Fendi came to us when she was just two weeks old. She was born with several severe heart defects, which require her to take eight medications per day. She is now three years old and going strong, thanks to your generous donations!
Community Cat of the Month!
Cujo was a community cat that we trapped, neutered, vaccinated, and released. For almost two years, we could not get close enough to touch him. In fact, he was proud to earn his name. Now, he is being fostered and doing well as an inside kitty.
About Us
Purrfect Match, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3), no-kill cat rescue located in Sarasota, Florida. We partner with local kill shelters to save homeless cats and kittens that may otherwise be euthanized.
We also help community cats who cross our path.
While in foster care, our cats and kittens receive the care needed before being matched with their forever family. Before becoming available for adoption, our cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and microchipped. Any medical or behavioral issues they present with are corrected to the best of our ability prior to adoption.
If a community cat is deemed unadoptable due to feral behavior, we trap, neuter/spay, vaccinate, and release (TNVR) them back to the community they came from. (We take care of any medical issues they may have before releasing them.) If they are adoptable, or show signs that they may become adoptable, they are placed in a foster home when space permits.
